Park View Cottage

Perfect place to take your dog and snuggle up on the sofa. The place was lovely and clean, only comment is that its a little dark in the sitting room during the day. Robes provided for the hot tub as an added bonus! Great little "secret garden." Location is great for walks, Hackfall was our favourite. Has free parking too.

Pretty disappointing. Cottage wasn't up to standards with cleanliness...far too many cobwebs and stained furnishings. The hot tub was ok but very little instructions and we ended up sitting in a clean cycle one night...ruined our swimwear and both came out in a rash. Remote location - the pub next door was terrible but we tried to eat there twice and both times she said she was too busy to take any more orders...at 7.30pm. Stayed with our dog but struggled to find many places nearby for morning/evening wees, very little grass areas nearby. We booked 7 nights and left after 6.

Beautiful remote cottage perfect for weekend getaways with the dog and or partner. Ended up being the spot my partner asked me to marry him so 5 stars through and through for me. If you're there give the local butcher a try. The breakfast meats we got were absolutely amazing and the fish and chip shop was beautiful for a drunken Saturday night treat after a couple hours in the hottub.
