I booked the 5 day course with Circuit Based Training, and I couldnt have made a better decision.(I had already completed my CBT elsewhere and my theory test) Sean has a wealth of knowledge which he imparted clearly. There were only either one or two other people with me throughout the week, and for three out of the five days when there was three of us, we also had an additional instructor, called Carl who was a lovely chap with a very calming manner. Sean always made sure that we fully understood everything that we needed to know before attempting any of the exercises that we did on the track. We had plenty of practical time on the bikes along with a couple of classroom sessions. The pillion rides that they offer are fantastic and really help to gain the understanding and feel of the bike, especially when it comes to cornering and counter steering I was very nervous about the MOD1, which for me was on Day 4 but I didnt need to be. The training along with the tips that Sean provided meant I passed just fine. After some more time on the road I did the MOD2 on day 5, which I passed also. Of course Im delighted to have passed and have my full license but the most important thing is that after completing this course I was taught over and above what was required to pass the tests. Ive learnt how to be a competent and safe rider, which is by far the most important thing going forward!! I could say lots more but this review is long enough! Thank you to Sean and Carl and continued safe riding to you both!

I can Highly recommend Circuit Based Training. I booked 'knee down mallory' August 2022 I was made extremely welcome by Sean, Carl and the team, all offering calm expert instruction and guidance in a friendly manner throughout the course. The facilities are superb, mallory park is a legendary racing circuit, and a superb venue to improve your skills and learn to explore your motorcycles capabilities. I had a fantastic time, learnt so much more in a far shorter time than it would have taken by myself. If your wanting to get the most out of motorcycling, get yourself booked on and enjoy a massive confidence boost!! Both knee sliders ground down, new ones on order, Still smiling !! I will certainly be back in the future, all the best to Sean and his team!! Thank you once again!

Did the 5 day direct access. Excellent course, Sean and Cassie are both great instructors, really knowledgeable and helped gradually build us over there week. Balance is good too, with first day on the track and later on the road, so helps build confidence and getting used to the bike. Only advice would be to get your theory test done before you start, I needed to do mid week which lost me some time on the road.

I booked the DAS training for my girlfriend. It was meant to consist of two days on track as per the description on their website. However they only had one day on track which made it difficult to justify why the cost of training here is more than twice what other schools charge. During this track day a lot of time was spent doing emergency stops, figures of eight and other slow speed manoeuvres which can frankly be done anywhere without paying a premium for a racing track. In addition during this one day the track was split to allow a knee-down class. This meant when the group was finally allowed to go around the race track they could only do half of it, then do a U-turn and turn around, interrupting the flow. Although we were under no time pressure there was a strong push towards booking Mod1 & 2 on the same day. We didnt even realise that it was possible to book them on separate days. But we soon figured out why. No other motorbike schools charges an admin fee for booking their students in for their tests. But here you pay double and lose this fee if you dont pass your first test while they remain able to rebook another student into that slot (not that this would get you a refund). They are also the only school which makes the students pay for petrol. No other school does that. The school prides itself on providing a better learning experience and promises to teach proper cornering techniques like counter steering which they say other schools dont teach. But this isnt true! Everybody teaches that, but not on a race track. The race track is great but the bikes are in pretty poor condition and look pretty battered and whilst most other schools have great big area to practice slow manoeuvres they only use their parking space with pretty uneven ground. My girlfriend failed her test first thing in the morning and was just sat in a cafe afterwards and then rode back which wasnt exactly a 5th day of training. She should have still been allowed to practice for the retake. Not really fair! If you are mainly wanting to do your course here because you are excited about the racing track, then think again! You might be better off doing your DAS for a normal price with a local school and returning here for an actual cornering course once you have your license. I was about to book it before I heard that its in a group of 16. Its okay to charge a premium if you have something people are happy to pay for but making money on people having to rebook their tests and being too stingy to cover their petrol seems greedy. We couldnt afford to continue and went with another school that wasnt making money on admin fees. Overall it wasnt worth spending the money for the training experience! The instructors were nice but we wish we hadnt spent money here.
