BASE Interior Design

We (Orange Design Studio - Architecture) Worked with Base Interior Design on the extension and redevelopment of a previously converted barn in Huddersfield. The spaces were singular and very dark. We designed a series of spaces that opened up the floor plate creating passage of natural light and atmosphere and introduced an open zone living, kitchen and dining area. Base' really stepped up to the mark in terms of working collaboratively with our layouts and designs. They were fantastic at composing colours and material pallets that were unique and at the forefront of any trends. These really worked well with our scheme. I would wholeheartedly recommend Base Interior Design for projects of all sizes and sectors.

Prior to Simone and Alison we lived in a 4 bed semi detached home which was dated and it simply could not cater for our life style. We decided to go with BASE after having a consultation with Simone and Alison. We could appreciating what they had to offer. We were immediately impressed with both Simone and Alisons professionalism, vision and their individual personalities. They both understood immediately our needs and were fully aware of our budget which was a big factor. The work started and all I can say about their team is WOW - fantastic workmanship, professional, hard working and their attention to detail was amazing!!!! They even went over and beyond what was asked of them in all the rooms they carried out work. We were that impressed that they have now carried work out at a friends address. With everything, plans slightly changed as work commenced but the way Simone and Alison dealt with the issues were fantastic. The pair have a, nothing can phase them attitude, they were prompt, they communicated extremely well and in essence - they got the job done. We are extremely happy with the end results and we owe this to BASE and the fantastic team of workmen around them. We would recommend BASE to anyone who is wishing to have work carried out from as little as painting a single room to a complete restoration of a property.
