If you could give less than 1 star this company would deserve it. Had them try obtaining a debt for us but after loads of phone calls and texts they didn't know what we was on about and we had to chase the debt ourselves then had Sam trying to throw his weight around for something they never recovered. Absolute shambles of a company and I would not recommend them one bit. Save yourself the hassle!

Owed a relatively small debt to a local veterinary practice. Passed to Collectas and set up a payment plan. Called every month on the 10th to make a payment but could never get through. Calls unanswered, emails ignored and then out of nowhere a payment is taken from my bank account. There was no DD or SO set up, and I had only given them my bank details on one occasion to make an initial payment over the phone. They had kept note of my bank details and have now taken 2 payments without my consent for varying amounts on random days. Have had to cancel cards, and veterinary practice say they cant get hold of them either!

So far completely useless. Sent one debt for them to chase last November, and so far nothing. No responses to emails or phone messages. When I did actually manage to speak to someone a few weeks ago, nobody knew anything about the case (although I have a Case Reference number) and seemed to find it quite amusing. Needless to say, I didn't. Have had no replies to emails sent since then and no joy trying to speak to anyone. I will be contacting the Ombudsman and making a formal complaint. By the way, quite a coincidence that the surname on one of the good reviews is the same as one of the employees!

Absolute con men. Good at using social media, not so good at paying you the money they recover. Avoid at all costs.
