I attended Bills Pharmacy this morning for a covid vaccine but was disgusted at how I was dealt with. I had received a government email telling me to have a covid booster due to my medical conditions. Despite my providing the medical evidence required she refused to do the vaccination as in her opinion I did not meet the criteria, which was incorrect but she talked to me in the main part of the shop, talking about my medical condition in front of others waiting for their vaccinations. This I found was so unprofessional, I have spoken to the hospital since and they assured me I needed the covid vaccination as did my gp! For her to discuss my medical condition in front of others was totally unacceptable and unprofessional! I would like to update this review, after a telephone from a member of staff, who had looked at why I was turned down for a vaccination she decided to look to see why and in her opinion I could have a booster. I would like to thank this lady who took the time and trouble to look into it and for ringing me and inviting me for a vaccination. She took the time to do this and ring me to discuss it and did the vaccination herself. She really went over and above, and I would really like to thank her for doing this, it really is appreciated.
