        A lovely traditional old pub with an open fire, good food, excellent beer and friendly staff and locals, there is also an attractive beer garden to the rear although we didn't make use of it as it's a bit cold at this time of year. Our twin room was spacious and comfortable. Nearby activities: Kingston is a very nice little town and with Hergest Ridge on the doorstep there is plenty of good walking.
