Beautiful little cottage on a working farm near the owner's chicken coup. Catherine was very inviting and kind, even asking for permission to have someone inspect the wall while we were in. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, a spatula, tea and coffee, and anything else you'd need for home. The location is approximately 8 minutes from castle combe, 10 to chippenham, and i think 15 or less to lacock, all which are worth visiting. Stonehenge is an hour, bath is 30, and avebury is about 35 or so. The roads are tight leading up to the house though, so drive safely. If you are allergic to hay or grass make sure to bring your meds because the fields behind the cottage are just acres of both. Overall it is a great place to bring a small family and they can provide a crib for your little ones.
