These guys make the finish of a property look good but underneath they clearly don't have a clue what they are doing in terms of plumbing and electrics. I would not recommend using these guys for property conversions or development. They use cheap materials and employ staff that don't appear to know what they are doing. For our flat they have carried out some pretty shoddy work. A few issues are to be expected but the list of issues is so long that I can't excuse it as minor. They fitted a cheap plastic washer to seal the back of the toilet cistern. This didn't create a water tight seal which caused the toilet to leak into the floor boards. They left a flying wire above the kitchen cupboards intended to be used to connect under cabinet lights but when we fitted the under cabinet lights it turned out they hadn't even wired the connection to the light switch on the wall. They used a cheap and shallow U-bend below the bath tub such that it didn't create a water seal meaning that sewage gases would flow back into the bathroom. They plumbing in the shower tap wrong such that hot/cold mixer tap does nothing so it can only be set to one temperature. The dishwasher they fitted was broken. When a dishwasher engineer was called out, he said that it was completely smashed up inside as if it had been dropped off the back of a lorry. Under the bedroom skirting they had left an air gap to the outside such that in the winter months the cold draught that flows into the room makes the room freezing cold. The uPVC windows had been left unsealed with an air gap to the outside. So that rain water would leak inside onto the window sill. When some of these issues were raised with Lime Group they were helpful in sorting them out but after a while they said they would charge us for a plumber/electrician which seems unfair since it was their poor workmanship that caused the issues in the first place.
