WOW, if your looking for cheap accommodation you'd be better off using a tent in the street. Whilst all the staff are very friendly, there is nothing else worth the 22/night fee. Room - Very grubby and worn out, it was like all the furniture came from the a recycling centre. Carpets were damp and grubby (nothing that a cleaner couldn't sort with a carpet cleaner). The kettle in my room had an electrical fault which led to it sounding like a short circuit, the guy came and his fix was to "place a sachet of sugar under one end to make a better connection". The bed base had HUGE rips in the fabric, like almost the entire width of the footsboard and along one side; there was no quilt (granted it's hot) but instead i was presented with an Afghan wool blanket crudely sandwiched between 2 cotton sheets to mask it.... I also made the mistake of taking a pillow out of the pillow case (because there were 2 in one case) and then thought it'd be better to be uncomfortable than to actually take the pillow out. Bathroom - Apart from the mirror and the toilet seat I'm not sure what else gets cleaned because the sink didn't empty in less than 2 minutes so it left all the scummy waste products smeared over it. The shower is probably not to current electrical safety standards due to its age (which is obvious as the plastic is starting to crack and discolour) Corridors - Smoke scented throughout, seriously you wouldn't think there was a public smoking ban. Parking - Don't even think about parking anywhere that isn't in the first 6 spaces outside the hotel because the Kingfisher Complex manager leaves a very bad English snot 'o' gramme on your car (or simply shouts at you for parking there). All things considered, it's cheap, but you really get less than you pay for (except you may get a nice illness from there).
