Yum yum yum! I have been following The Backyard Cafe on Instagram for a while now and finally got a chance to go this weekend for lunch. We were really impressed - the food is incredibly tasty and the homemade cakes are heavenly. We will be coming back to try every item on the menu, as it all looked delicious.

Absolutely fantastic, my favourite breakfast place. Staff are lovely, menu is fantastic and the food is such good quality. Highly recommend.

Delicious food! Lovely team with bright smiles! Beautiful interior! I booked this for Mothers Day & treated the family to brunch. We were not disappointed. There was even a balloon arch outside which felt extra special! The immune boost juice was so fresh and went down well with the english breakfast. We also had the hot pork roast sandwich with roasties & cider gravy. It was just the right amount of sandwich filling - it didnt fall apart! We ended our brunch with a piece of homemade creamy white choc fudge - a free sweet treat as we had booked on Mothers Day! Id like to also say that during our visit, a passerby had fallen outside. Whilst he was being looked after & before he was offered a lift home, Andrea ran out to give him a bake on the house! It was thoughtful, caring & kind. I think this speaks volumes to the kind of person she is & also to the kind of person who is looking after the cafe & its staff. (Parking outside but its easily accessible from the bus stop too!) We will be visiting again!
