1st lesson was great not what I was expecting very much about the science of the voice which was easy to understand and could hear a difference in myself straight away. Also helped with a long standing problem of scaring on vocal cords and voice box.

When I first came to Angela I had several problems with my upper register, including cracks, and was deliberately singing lower than my comfortable range to avoid high notes (which without realising it was actually risking more potential damage). Angela worked with me in a range of techniques (both established and unique to her). She was kind, patient and professional and the progress I made within a year was nothing short of amazing. My voice has been considerable strengthened and healed and I now feel comfortable hitting notes I last sang 20 years ago! I would thoroughly recommend her for anyone with vocal disorders or issues.

I have had 4 lessons with Angela so far. Whilst I had many years of singing in my teens and twenties, I am revisting my voice in my late 50's..! The improvement in my vibrato is tremendous- even at this early stage. My breath control is more stable and placing the voice and I find it much easier to rise through the scales. All of this is down to Angela.... highly recommended.

After a lifetime of singing with choral groups and choirs, I suddenly lost my singing voice due to a medical problem. Although on reflection I think that my voice had probably been waning for some time before that. How I missed the enjoyment of singing with others and wondered if there might be some help for me. In searching the internet I came across Angela Kelly, singing specialist and arranged an appointment. Although an ENT consultant had referred me for speech therapy, I knew that I needed more help with my singing. I thought I was a pretty hopeless case, but Angelas encouragement and professionalism has resulted in my voice being unlocked and I have gained a new confidence; what I thought I had lost forever has been found! What a difference its made, I thought my singing voice was lost forever, As a top soprano I have once again managed to reach high C. I feel optimistic for the future and the future looks bright!

Angela has been an absolute dream! I have seen multiple speech therapists and singing teachers but none of which have been able to provide the vocal rehab needed to help me recover from my nodules. Angela is exactly what I have been looking for and after just a couple of lessons has provided me with a unique insight of the voice and wonderful exercises which have helped with not only my vocal health but also enabled me to enjoy singing again. Further to this, her encouraging and motivating words have given me hope that I will find my natural soprano voice again, which Is something I didn't think was possible. She is a wonderful, genuine person, fully qualified and skilled in all areas regarding the voice. If you are someone with any type of vocal damage and need help with recovery, or simply looking to improve your vocal skills with some new interesting techniques, this is the voice specialist for you.
