Ellesmere Counselling and Psychotherapy Training

Rubbish, I contacted them to get information to self refer to their service...after a couple of emails it was suggested to me that a call back would be better so I sent them my contact details. Then nothing, no response to confirm a date or time for a call back, so after a few days I tried to call them, numerous times, only to get the answering machine everytime. So I emailed. Apparently the person I had been emailing had been wasting my time as they have no therapists taking on new clients at present. They are a total piss take. I contacted them for help, only to be messed about for over a week an then fobbed off.

Having completed my own training here & continuing with my own CPD I know there is no where better if you are wanting to be seen and treated as an individual, wanting quality, interesting trainers, a lovely, welcoming, caring & supportive environment and to be encouraged to be the best version of you. I recently attended a 2 day bereavement workshop. The trainers were very knowledgeable, the course was run at a really good pace. It was a small group which was preferable due to the course content and the sensitive personal information that was shared by all. Sometimes a difficult subject but a really enjoyable course and I got a lot from it.

I am currently studying Transactional Analysis at the Centre and recently attended an intro to CBT there. The facilitator Adam, whom delivered a Mental Health First Aid course that I also attended had a great style of delivery. The course was very informative and the group were encouraged to process the subject in an interpersonal manner, which worked incredibly well. I would certainly recommend this Centre for Psychotherapy related courses. K. Dawson

I completed the Mental Health First Aid course here recently and had a great learning experience with some lovely people. The trainer was very experienced and we had a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend the centre and staff.
