19th century British style: Changing cabins besides the pool: very humid. No separate street shoes/barfoot areas. 1 pool for kids and 1 pool for non-swimmers up to 1.80m water depth at one end. The water was clean and warm. Separate shower areas for males and females. Interior design is beautiful, but due to the humid changing pods impractical, especially in Winter. Lockers not suitable for Winter clothing, unless you take two per person.

Beverley Road Baths underwent refurbishment in 2021 to modernise the facilities and also to conserve the heritage of the building. Most noticeably, the wonderful art nouveau inspired reception and entrance hall. The tiles are a fine testament to the artistic and skilled manufacturing of a period when Britain was at the forefront of design and production. The refurbished swimming pool and new gym are once again giving local people somewhere to enjoy and keep fit. This is the first step in the ongoing and much needed improvement to regeneration and retention of the cultural heritage of Beverley Road. Hull City Council should be congratulated for undertaking this scheme that will undoubtedly improve the area for the people of Hull and attract investment to benefit the city into the future.
