Due to my husband's disability, and we have to rely on taxis we had to cancel a few appointments. We went in on Friday to book appointments and was told by a rude lady that because we missed appointments and didn't phone to let them know, we have been put on the cancelled list, and we would have separate appointments, because of the nature of my husbands disability and I'm his carer and to keep the cost down on taxi fares we have to have appointments together. Suffice to say we will going somewhere else.

Arrived for 1.30 appointment booked by telephone 2 weeks previously to be told the optometrist was ill and anyway they had no record of my appointment. I also agree with previous comments about staff abruptness. Needless to say I did not re-book, I'm afraid 1 star is far too generous.

My first specs from Asda I bought beginning of the year, I took my own prescription, so just buying frames, couldnt have received better treatment, second pair last week, and once again delighted with customer service and glasses, I cannot believe how reasonably priced they are, I paid 45 for varifocal all in, my friend bought similar from local opticians and pain 300!

My husband had an eye test last year & said he wouldnt go again because the optician was rude (not the Scottish lady). I rang to book an appointment and the woman was so abrupt that Ill never go back again. They need to brush up on their customer service
