Mum was transferred to Rossmore after a stroke. Some staff were lovely and cared for her well, but when your mum is in tears because some staff did their jobs begrudgingly you have to wonder about the management. Making vulnerable and extremely unwell people feel uncomfortable for requesting the basics is appalling. Found out a couple of months ago that another patient in the same room as mum was being bullied by staff. She was non verbal due to a stroke so could not speak up for herself.

My mum was transferred here from the hospital after suffering a stroke, all staff are friendly and it's only been under 2 weeks since my mum's stroke but she seems happy to be there.

Staff are angels, never stop,I progressed very quickly after 3 weeks in rossmore due to having surgery on herniated discs, staff go out there way to help in anyway they can, cleaning staff are on the ball every morning, physio , toileting, clean bedding every day, I would definitely recommend rossmore to anyone who has to rehabilitate, also the meals and apple crumbles are definitely to die for x

As you walk in the front door both ground floor rooms afford absolutely no privacy for the residents there. One man using a urine bottle in full view of all visitors! Two light bulbs out in entrance. Tired shared rooms with no toilet facilities. A rabbit warren of narrow stair cases. No space for bedside cabinets meaning bedbound residents have no access to their belongings. Staff appear bored & disinterested. Friend had bed sores when re admitted to hospital. CQC where are you?
