After discussions with another garage about alternatives, I had work done and back on the road for a fraction of the cost. On the removal of the old dpf, it wasnt melted at all and could of simple been cleaned and more then likely had a lot of miles left in it. Not happy about the misdiagnosis especially when potentially, drivers are exploited by this poorly designed system. Not all digital checks tell the full story! Service: Exhaust
