Kingston range. A brilliant piece of kit,easy to plumb and put in,no more leaks and no more messing about with tiles.The best shower I have seen,and I would recommend it to anybody that has only a small space for a shower. I have had it in now for over 5 yrs, and still no problems, use it every day.

Kubex Kingston shower cubicles have a major material flaw resulting in complete failure of the unit in just a few years which the company is refusing to acknowledge. We installed a Kingston shower unit into our property four years ago on the back of the fact Kubex 'expect' a 20 year lifespan. The kitchen ceiling below the shower collapsed last week and on investigation the plastic around the waste had completely degraded and cracked allowing the waste to drop down. Further investigation showed widespread cracking of the tray. Antony Cook the MD at Kubex first suggested it was UV light, and now says it is a 'product' possibly hair dye, possibly bleach based, possibly he doesn't know! Only CIF cream cleaner has been used on the shower but Kubex have failed to comment on whether even that can be used on their products. Kubex offer a one year warranty on this shower but be warned don't expect it to last much longer that that. Many other UK shower tray manufacturers offer 12 years.....Total cost of making this repair and building new shower - 1200, and in addition we paid 775 for the Kubex cubicle, we won't ever be using Kubex again!
