My grandad got took into this place on Friday the 10th, the staff was amazing and I know one personally, the staff made my grandad comfortable and pain free as we sadly lost him today 17th of march. I cant thank the staff enough for what they did and made him happy through his final days. My heart goes out to all of them as they have a very hard job and do amazing. Keep up the hard work and thank you for everything you did!!!

After Robotic Prostatectomy failed to clear cancer referred to centre for treatment. Despite extraordinary conditions with machine breakdowns and inadequate communication systems the Radiotherapy team and one excellent receptionist in Machine 2 deserve medals for looking after us patients with care kindness and passion through my 25 consecutive daily treatment sessions from Scarborough. Big Thanks and good luck to all the fantastic other cancer sufferers who helped me through friendly chats as we waited for our appointments as we fight our individual journey with this godforsaken illness.Just fed up with water!

Update... So, after the after what was a bad experience on day one of five consecutive visits, it was the only day where it went wrong, every other days seemed organised, fair and balanced... So I have increased my rating from 2* to an almost perfect 4*. Where to start. So many good reviews and so much promise but let down by poor management and queue jumping. You are given an appointment time and told to be there 10 minutes early. Arrive just after 8am and finally seen almost two hours after the appointment time. Queue jumping makes it more of a free for all but management would be quick to tell you what they think if you are late. Patient services... Lunch 12-1. Fair enough, we all deserve some lunch, but come 2pm, don't get grumpy because you left the office, only to return and find you have a patient who would like some help. Maybe you are in the wrong job or just forgot where you were? The car park is full quickly, with the selfish abandoning in the drop-off bay for more than would be reasonably acceptable and some blocking access on double red lines. Maybe if staff could process those waiting, people would be out quicker and more space for those trying to park as close as possible to the entrance doors. This is only day two and with more to come, I can see why the NHS and society continues to struggle. I must say though, what a lovely building and it is kept very clean.
