** Update ** March 2023 Feeling very much upset to see that the museum and the shop on Whitefriergate, has gone and probably never to be seen again very sad Was the Greatest and best museum in hull :-) :-) But the actual memorial is still there on Paragon Street year later update - still the best museum in Hull

Absolutely disgusted with the actions of this so-called charity! I will never visit the place again. Whilst walking past this morning, a male member of staff was videoing himself telling a homeless couple sheltering in an adjoining doorway, to get their stuff together and leave. It was 4, and about 9.30am, they were cold and hungry, and he was telling them they stink and need a shower. The young woman was in floods of tears, and the man was trying to gather their few belongings into a shopping trolley. Each time a piece of cardboard fell out, the staff member was shouting, "come on, you've dropped a bit!" Never before have a seen such a lack of empathy and humanity, and from a registered charity, that is particularly shocking, as another member of the public also pointed out. I felt physically sick, and will be posting this on Facebook, along with photographs. Absolutely shameful.
