Calvert Surgery (Haxby Group)

I contacted my doctors surgery fir a appointment to be told I had to wait 6 weeks which was on the 9th march ti receive a text message to say it will be under 6 weeks before I can get ti see a gp. I have since replied to the message to be told the case is closed

I was advised today by my pharmacist to ring the surgery to chase up my repeat prescription asap. I've been waiting on hold over 40 minutes, constantly being told I'm caller number 3. Haxby you are a joke.

Since this surgery was taken over by Haxby group the service and level of anticipated fulfilment has deteriorated beyond recognition no preemptive checkups for asthma and wellness are being carried out and there is no continuity of contact with frontline staff.We seldom get seen at this surgery we are usually refered to their Newington surgery almost each time we approach them we are treated as complete strangers although we have used this facility and predecessors for over 40 years sorry but your performance has been abysmal

I had to go to Newland health centre on 2 buses for a blood test as couldn't get an appointment here....
