My beautiful grandma sadly passed away in her bungalow surrounded by her loving familyso you can imagine our horror when browns came to collect her and carried her away in a sack barrow and was placed in the back of a white van!!! Not a dignified exit at allwe of course changed funeral directors to shepherds who were amazing

My dad was cremated on 1st July 2022 I would like to say from start to finish you were all supurb very professional and kind and EW Brown would be very proud of you all,you must be doing something right for 116 yrs to still be in business you made the whole experience easier the whole family agreed thankyou the WIlson family xx Edna,Joanne,Graham and Andrea xxxx

Browns have now looked after 3 of my immediate family members, I cannot recommend them highly enough! They are extremely good at what they do and are proud to do it well, they go above and beyond, to provide a highly professional, dignified and personal funeral service. The full Brown family of staff treat both the bereaved family members and the deceased person with sensitivity, care, compassion and empathy from the first telephone call continuing until the last contact (and even beyond).

Would highly recommend EW Brown they were very professional, helpful and caring. Nothing was too much trouble, they gave my dad the send off he well and truly deserved. The staff at browns went above and beyond to cater for all our needs.
