I have no issues with the practice doctors/nurses but struggle to get on with the reception staff. Ive just got off the phone with one in particular - really quite patronising when asking a simple question re. ordering repeat prescriptions and received a condescending response. Reception staff might need a bit of up to date customer service training!!

Called the surgery this morning and what a pleasant experience, a really friendly, polite receptionist answered and was very nice and helpful. A massive change to previous experiences over the years Ive been with the surgery and a very welcomed one

I have attended this practice from the age of 16 when I lived down the parkway I married in 1974:and moved out of the boundary but carried on staying at the surgery . 57 years later I have been given 28 days notice to relocate to another doctors .I find this totally unacceptable when I am being treated for different ailments apparently I have to move because of new build houses and they take priority over me .totally fuming

I have been with this practise for forty years. In the last five years I have had to rely on this practise to keep me alive. I use System Online to send my repeat prescriptions and they have always gone to the pharmacy. I have never found the receptionists rude but then I realise that they have a difficult job and have to do the best they can with all the requests they get. I am quite happy to say why I want to consult the doctor. If the receptionist suggests another person or service, Ill try it. It often means I get my problem looked at more quickly and then if that person thinks I need more medical attention, Im directed to where is applicable.
