Zero stars. Boiler installed Aug 2019 by, I assume, an 'accredited engineer' at a cost of 2,000. We kept up with the annual service so as not to invalidate the warranty as this was a "no brainer". Problem with the boiler Nov 2022, pressure dropping. Ideal employee changed a valve Feb 2023. Boiler still not fixed. We contacted Ideal again and were lied to by the 'office junior' "the warranty isn't valid as the boiler is near electrics and near a sink" and given an email address to complain to. Appalling customer service.

Terrible service. I had to chase YourRepair and Ideal heating for over a week. No one phoned me to let me know what was happening with my boiler repair. I have a child with a disability. I had no boiler at all for 3 weeks, no heating or hot water having to use my immersion. I had to chase it up over and over again to be told by YourRepair that the repair I actually need is not covered in my policy. I needed to get it repaired privately. I would have appreciated being told this information sooner rather than later. My main issue was with YourRepair, but Ideal were terrible also. I now have a new boiler thats not Ideal.

In the market for a new boiler and decided to give Ideal a try. Participated in a promotion on their website which wasn't received. I contacted them several times but it was only after I left them a review online that the matter was resolved to the minimum expected. Disappointing experience but the boiler has performed really well.
