Ref: After reading Geoff's review & Pure Renewables very poor response! Personally I will not be using this company because it is evident that their warranty's & after sales are clearly lacking/non existent. The least they could/should have done was an offer to pay Geoff's fix it bill & not a standard fob off apology.

I was going to enquire about getting a solar PV and battery system installed but after reading Geoffs review & others was disappointed by the after-sales service. Wow. Shocking approach & every customers worst nightmare.

Eight years ago Pure Renewables installed a domestic solar PV system, the work was satisfactory and came with the reassurance of a ten year warranty On the fourth of January 2022 I left a voicemail message to report the sudden failure of the system, since the external fuses had not tripped and there had been no physical changes to the system the likely cause I felt would be that the inverter wasn't functioning. The voicemail was promptly acknowledged and I was advised that the fault would need to be reported to an electrician. Three weeks later I received an email apologising for the delay adding, "we are currently very busy delivering numerous projects that we need to complete before 31/03/22." And, "if the inverter needs replacing I doubt we will have capacity to do this until April, so you may want to approach other companies." I draw the conclusion from this that Pure Renewables will always prioritise new business over after service to the extent they will even suggest looking elsewhere. Incidentally an electrician attended after six weeks and diagnosed that the inverter 'wasn't working', why? "I don't know" 91.20 + VAT charged. I was advised at the time of ordering the the system that the inverter would have an extended warranty of ten years however the manufacturer, Samil, went into liquidation four years ago so myself and other customers with the same inverter are left without a warranty.
