Absolutely horrible expirience. Huge queues, slow and unhelpful receptionists. Phone lines are always busy, cannot get through. Welcome to NHS.

Absolute joke. Took three weeks to get registered and get an appointment. Turned up for my appointment at 7:15am today. Receptionist scowled at me before I even started talking. Said I had an appointment booked with Amanda. She said "Amanda who?" I would expect the staff to know one another's names. After giving my details she said the Dr was out sick and that they had tried calling me multiple times yesterday but my phone was constantly engaged. For one I wasn't on any calls yesterday, two there were zero missed calls on my call log, three if it was engaged they could have left a voicemail and finally all else fails send an email (which they did not). As I'd initially explained when I booked the appointment I require medication and that I am suffering from suicidal thoughts. I explained I am in dire need of medical attention but all the receptionist could offer was an appointment at Longhill (which is inaccessible to me). The receptionist just kept uttering "not my fault someone called in sick" with the same scowl. Considering the severity of my condition one would have thought they could provide a ten minute slot with another GP.
