THE coffee shop in Hull, Luke knows what he's talking about and the coffee selections are always great and brewed to perfection.

I want to be as fair as possible here, I'm a bit of a wine fan, I don't profess to know a lot but I can tell a good one from a bad one. We went for the organic wine on one the pizza nights. We tried both wines and they were very weak, lacking in body and flavour, a good red should have the viscosity to linger on the side of the glass after a sip and these didn't. I've had better house wines in standard pubs. The other alternative was 95 a bottle we didn't really want to pay that. At 8 a glass I expect a pretty well selected wine. The pizza was very greeesy, I feel not cooked at a hot enough temperature with slightly too much dough which was still quite moist. The positives are it's a very nice atmosphere, friendly service and excellent background music. In my opinion there's aren't enough places playing really good electronic music and the ambient house and kind of synth wave vibes were really good and chosen by someone who clearly knows their stuff. I think with better wine selections and more veriety I'd recommend this place.
