I had a lot to overcome joining worship in an Anglican church having been in the cult of Watchtower for sixty-seven years. The vicar and his wife made it easy and the congregation is a friendly mixed community in which the vulnerable are well supported. Contrary to what I'd been led to believe by JWs, the Bible was in use and I found nothing doctrinally objectionable. After my previous abominable experience I won't be committing myself to denominational religion anytime soon but its good to be amongst Christians.
