Happy House

Value for money is great. Never had a bad meal and we've been regular customers for over a year now. The owners are so friendly and cheerful. We don't even entertain the idea of going somewhere else for food!

Was so looking forward to having chinese from reviews. Was the worst l have ever had. Tasteless chops dry a d scrappy. Very dissapointed.

Travelled from South Cave to visit, excellent food and extremely friendly staff. The food didnt feel or taste greasy like my usual takeaways and was really fresh. We ordered: salt and pepper chips, spring rolls, prawn crackers, 2 chow meins, 1 egg fried rice, chicken in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken, and beef fillet in Cantonese sauce and it only came to 29.70! Such good value and will definitely make the trip again to visit!

Just moved into the area and I'm so happy to say this Chinese is across the road from us, it's literally the best Chinese takeaway I've had....and I've tried a lot!! My partner loves the salt and pepper chicken and chips with curry sauce, and I love the mixed meat fried rice and beef with mushrooms, it's delicious, and unlike most Chinese takeaways, it's not overly salty,it's perfect
