Morrisons Cafe

Dirty stained cups, cutlery not too clean either! No tomatoes for the full English breakfast( you are in a supermarket, there should be a policy where you can buy instore if you run out), although we were given an extra hash brown instead but its not the same at all! The rest of the breakfast was very nice but it does make you worry about the standards in the kitchen considering the state of the cups and cutlery. Not sure if we will return.

I visited on Monday with my daughter and grandson, we ordered food and drinks and paid at the machine. On trying to get our drinks we found the fizzy drinks dispenser had no flavour in any of them so we took slushes instead, only to find there was no straws for the slushy's. We found a table and went to get cutlery etc. Most of what there was in the trays was dirty / grubby. There was no small spoons and no forks. Eventually we got some brought out . kitchen roll on the counter instead of serviettes. 20 minuets wait for food even though it wasnt very busy. While we were in the cafe eating our food there where a lot of tables that where left un cleared. still full when we left. I doubt if we will be back.

We went for breakfast . my wife asked for poached egg on toast and I asked for the ultimate breakfast. To begin with, no beakers for hot drinks. We was told 10 minutes or use a paper cup. We used 1of each. We got sat down and this really nice waitress came and said they had no poached eggs and would scrambled be ok. I thought that poached eggs were made fresh. The breakfast consisted of beans in a pot. ( that's good coz I can't eat them) . 3 bacon, 1/2 a tomato, 3 sausages, 2 black pudding, 2 whole flat mushrooms. 2 fried bread. Not bad but fried bread was very greasy . The mushrooms tasted very woody. Not nice. Every thing else was ok. Sadly there was a very noticeable shortness of staff. But the staff were very polite and efficient. Also they have clearly removed tables out of the restaurant. Was this the ultimate breakfast??? No. Would I go back ? Yes Parking: Plenty of parking. Free
