Have never had so many problems and such a run-around than with Halifax over absolutely nothing. Held my money hostage, failed to log calls, failed to read notes, made me wait on phone for ages, endless spiel about fraud prevention over and over , spoken to rudely, Lloyds and Halifax are the worst banking experience you could ever have.

The lady who looked after me was very helpful. I will be returning to open an account with them as I am not very happy with my current bank, whom I have been with since 1977.

I've been with this bank since I was 18. I need a referee for ID and they refuse to do it for me even though they are on the list of people that can.
