Wen on the Italian Bread making Course last Sunday. The bakery is an amazing place to be in. A working bakery turned into a training environment for the day. There were only 3 of us on the course that day, it was Covid safe and ultra clean. We were all fully instructed throughout the day and Patrick Crabtree's knowledge and teaching method is outstanding. All three of us made under careful instruction Focaccia, Pizza, Ciabatta and a round Italian bread called Pugliese. Oh and we made and ate a Calzone for our own lunchtime. The whole experience was relaxed and flowed nicely. All 3 of us, under guidance produced the same high quality breads - all of us made perfect bread which is a testament to Patrick's ability to teach. I have every intention of booking on all of his other courses knowing I will leave being able to make all the breads. You think you can make bread until you are taught properly. Makes all the difference. The day is really good fun.
