We travelled from London with our greyhound to take part in Lucys session with reactive dogs. It was absolutely brilliant. We were concerned that he would be intimidated and act up but under Lucys kind and wise guidance he started showing much more positive behaviour, which carried on throughout the hour and into the next day. He really appears to have learned the lessons. We will definitely be back. Whole-heartedly recommended.

Lucy is brilliant! I did Lucys online adolescent course in January to tide us over until the in person adolescent course started in March. I learnt a great deal from this course and it was great to be practicing the training whilst waiting to start in March as it allowed me to understand the thinking behind why dogs choose (or not) to respond to what you are asking of them. Recall was the biggest challenge I was facing with my 14 month old pup and the training that Lucy gives in her adolescent classes is as real to life as a training session can be. Lucy has a large secure field with fun obstacles and of course the other dogs on the training course providing excellent distractions to really work on the recall. It wasnt plain sailing immediately but every week my dog improved and when the temptation to run over and say hello to his fellow canine scholars became too great, Lucy never made him or I fell like a failure. Instead she encouraged him back to me (she really does have a way with dogs) and praised him for coming away from his mates and back to me. He felt very clever! Very soon I had the confidence to do this (obviously not quite as slick as Lucy) and we really started to make progress and actually passed at the end of the 5 weeks - I didnt think that would happen in week 1 or 2!! The training is good fun and totally non judgmental. Lucy is a very gifted dog trainer that really understands the physiology of dogs - and humans - and is so practical and down to earth - she is the best dog trainer I have ever used! We enjoyed it so much weve decided to go on to the next level of training
