        An outstanding Club I honestly cannot recommend highly enough. As a complete novice arriving flustered and slightly late having taken a wrong turning we were immediately welcomed and made to feel at home. My Instructor was friendly, patient, relaxed and clearly an experienced and proficient pilot. Throughout our flight he was entirely focused on sharing his love of gliding and helping me to get the best from the experience. It was enthralling and if you are contemplating trying gliding, do it, and you couldn't find a better club than this one!

        Started flyjng at BWND in August 2020 with a trial flight. Went solo in May 2021 and working on my Bronze. Outstanding instructors, very friendly - great flying, social and learning experience - highly recommend it!
