Can't recommend highly enough!! Such a positive experience working with Carmen. She has helped me immensely with my confidence with her hugely encouraging and supportive techniques. She has helped me to understand my voice and my vocal range and realise my potential with personally tailored techniques and warm up exercises. Life-changing vocal coaching with Carmen - about 6 months in, and I am feeling closer to the voice I've always wanted than ever before! I look forward to my lesson every week. It isn't just fun and informative, it is energising, inspiring and life-affirming. If singing means the world to you, you will find the perfect nurture for it here. If you're curious to give it a go, Carmen will get the best sounds out of you you've ever made! Carmen is a wise and professional teacher, as well as being playful, upbeat and incredibly encouraging. My band noticed the change in my voice - sounding clearer and more confident. Carmen is invested in her students to get them where they want to be, and the possibilities feel endless to me now. Plus she has an amazing voice :-D I recommend her to anyone looking for a teacher now.

Carmen's skills and experience as an extraordinary vocal coach and guide go far beyond simply teaching you how to maximize your voice. Not only has Carmen taught me the technical knowledge and skills, but she has helped to improve my confidence and self-belief. Carmen has the skill of saying the right things at the right time that has helped to shift my narrative around what I believe is possible as a singer and speaker. She has helped me to shift some really unhelpful beliefs and vocal / emotional blocks that I didn't even realise existed and - as a result - I have so much more confidence in my vocal ability. It is the most vulnerable thing getting up in front of someone to sing, but Carmen makes you feel so at ease and I cannot thank her enough for all she has done to support me (including adapting to lessons on zoom when I was unable to get to her house for the lesson).
