A great service at a competitive price, with the reassurance of BAR membership. Jason, Matt and Lee moved us from Bordon to the Midlands over two days in February 2023. They were swift, professional and considerate throughout, making sure to ask us where we wanted things at the other end. I felt very comfortable dealing with them throughout the process and I was impressed with how quickly and carefully they loaded and unloaded everything. Lynne answered my questions in the office when I first inquired quickly and cheerfully and was also extremely helpful, especially given that we booked right at the last minute. It was a real relief to know that Gentle Giants were taking care of our possessions during our move - thank you!

We recently purchased a new property in Farnham, leaving our family home after 25 years. Gentle Giants were the perfect choice for us. The removal schedule was structured around our needs and specific timetable. The team that moved us was professional, courteous and nothing was too much trouble. The packing and boxing was expertly done and the overall experience of working with such an experienced team helped to reduce what was always going to be a stressful situation. Highly recommended!

Really good service from start to finish. They came over to assess how much we had to move to inform on cost so there weren't any surprises. On removal day the team were amazing- we had a lot of stuff to move but they took it all jn their stride, including a very late key release! I would highly recommend them.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this company. The service we received prior to our move was good, more expensive than other quotes but we thought they would look after us so worth the extra money. I also cannot fault the removal men - they worked so hard in incredibly hot conditions and were very polite and helpful. However, soon after our move we realised that well over 50% of our antique furniture was chipped and/or broken. Smashed glass in mirrors, broken marble table top, destroyed artwork where the bubble wrap had stuck to the oils, broken electrics on our sofa, destroyed table tennis table. the list goes on. They gave us very little time to report breakages for an insurance claim, and as everyone knows, when you move house, it takes a lot longer than several weeks to unpack each and every box of belongings so we were forced to list only a few items that we could claim back on. I was naive to think it would be a simple process - they broke our belongings, they pay for replacements and repair - however, three months later and I am still battling for compensation. On the advice of Seb, one of the Directors of Gentle Giants, we paid extra to cover us for 400,000 worth of belongings. So far we have been reimbursed for less than 1000 - plus a visit from a French Polisher to deal with the chips. The saddest part is my childrens outdoor ping pong table, we paid over 700 for a very good and expensive model, it was their pride and joy - it was totally destroyed in the move and so far the insurance is offering us 200. I am sure Gentle Giants will say this is down to the insurance company and not them, but as far as Im concerned they were responsible for all of the damage so are therefore responsible for the aftercare and compensation. I would hate others to have to go through what we have. Moving house is stressful enough without having to deal with so much damage and the lack of care we have received. A very sad state of affairs.
