Rooms: Very basic, everything you need, fridge, kettle, TV and bed, couches are very hard and poor, has radiator indoors too Walkability: Town nearby cheaper to buy stuff here than on site I.e firewood food and bbq Food & drinks: Hello, Very mixed feeling here, where to start, we paid 25 for a deposit to book a table for Easter Sunday, upon arrival no one knew anything about it, nothing was set up and we had to rearrange the room very poorly as not enough spare tables were left, why ask for a deposit and not arrange or set it up? We might aswel or just turned up on the day and sorted it ourselves. Secondly when we used the 25 deposit st the till no one knew what to do with it, we got given a receipt and went to the calvery for the chef to refuse it then go check it himself, major lack of communication. The staff there are terrified of the manager, I've never seen anything like it, no people skills at all, very rude, all the staff are scared to do anything, the vibe inside is very stressed and worrying which is caused by her management skills, I really felt sorry for the team. When taking orders the staff don't really know what to do, I asked for brown sauce and got bbq, we asked for mayo and they said they had none, we asked someone else and they said the other one is forgetful and brought us some, 3 of the meals we ordered came wrong and we had to send back, now please revert to the previous paragraph, the manager didn't like this, got very rude and passive aggressive, the curry we got was trash, we all tried it and sent it back, she made us a fresh meal ill give credit where it is due, she then slammed the food on the table with no interaction. The staff give about 15 check backs for the food along with the manager lady coming over to check in every 5 minutes on the food saying her and her husband have made it them selves, I understand a check back but every 5 minutes is damn right annoying. The rating I give is for the slow, disorganised service with a major lack of management and communication skills, the atmosphere was awful. The quality of food after the wait, poor chaotic service was great, she cooks some great food ( apart from the curry )

have just come back from a weekend here for my birthday. Wow is all I can say I have come back soo relaxed. upon arrival the pod was heated with a small oil filled radiator very clean and tidy. we then bought the logs from the site shop 4 for 10 I thought was good value. The hot tub was clean and tidy and lovely and warm. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. cant wait to return
