        I live in a border oak cottage but did not build it or in any way deal with the company, who I do hear are superb. This is more a review of one of their cottages in pembridge built in 2000. The quality of absolutely everything is superb. The attention to detail with the adzed internal oak, top rate double glazed windows, internal and external doors, underfloor heating etc are all excellent and holding up flawlessly. One issue to definitely be aware of is the shrinkage of the oak. This is quite considerable and will need caulking and painting a few times over the years. After 20 years it now seems stable. I cannot reccomend enough the joy of living in such a cozy space, and the excellent insulation is a big bonus these days.
