Staff were friendly and our dog seemed to enjoy his stay. He can be a little bit nervous in new places / with new people but thankfully didnt come back like hes been sent away to war for several months - would use again.

Thanks for looking after Lola and Monkey. It was their first visit and they were well look after. Foredowne Kennels are a very efficient and professional operation. Definitely recommended.

I visited the kennels with a view to putting my dog here. I left upset at what I saw and would NEVER EVER leave my dog here. Dogs are not walked as website states. They are locked in their tiny box from 6pm to 7.30 am. That is 13 hrs 30 minutes. The dogs I saw had hard plastic beds with no bedding. Floors are concrete. Dogs are not allowed to have their own bedding unless you are prepared to lose it. No toys. Bare cages and pens. Dogs let out for 10 to 15 mins in am while their area is cleaned. Then another short burst in enclosed area around half the size of a tennis court. We were not allowed to see most of the kennels as they were being cleaned even though wed been told this happens in the mornings and we were there in the afternoon. The noise level is extremely high and stressful for dogs. On our visit, no one spoke nicely to the dogs as they passed them. Dogs were barking non stop even before we entered, were highly stressed, jumping up at the cages, looking for attention.
