Terrible customer service. Prescriptions never seem to be ready and constantly told to "wait 15 minutes". The staff and pharmacist are rude to customers and inefficient. They faff about looking for prescriptions just to be told by the pharmacist that "it's not ready yet". Why doesn't he just tell them that immediately as he has clearly heard the conversation? The 'two customer policy' during Covid restrictions made sense but was so rudely communicated to incoming customers by the pharmacy staff. Whilst waiting for my prescription (as per usual) a customer explained her need for prescribed anti-depressants and her long wait for the prescription to be dispensed at the pharmacy. She was told that they had to close early the day before so everything was behind and to come back much later in the day. The woman was unable to due to work, so the response from the pharmacy was to try the next day. The woman was clearly very anxious and was visibly distressed at not having her medication for a 48hr period, yet no allowances were made for her. They have a duty of care to ensure prescriptions are dispensed in a timely manner. This pharmacy clearly only exists due to the patience / tolerance of the people in the village. I'm all for supporting local independent businesses but not when the service is this rude and slow. If the same service was provided by another business locally then that would soon put this pharmacy out of business. Even my GP surgery were aware of complaints about the pharmacy and were very helpful when changing my nominated pharmacy to one that is far more courteous and professional.
