We needed information on an existing industrial installation to allow us to produce layouts to install some new equipment. Very few drawings of the site existed so a 3D laser scan was an ideal way to capture the information. Alan took the time to discuss and fully understand our requirements and offered his suggestions as to the best approach.
The resulting scan data produced was comprehensive and exceeded our expectations. This allowed us to take all measurements and visualise the site without having to visit ourselves. We were able to incorporate the new equipment within the existing plant with confidence it would fit.
We will be using Pointscan Ltd on future projects.
