Last weekend myself and friends passed through your beautiful village on our journey to Romsey. We all commented on the Church and the decision was made to visit on our return. On entering We were warmly greeted and ushered in by a lovely group of ladies who invited us in to join them for Soup and Sherry, then proceeded to serve us the most delicious Soup bread homemade cakes and fruit. Whilst taking great interest in how we were enjoying our stay locally. The hospitality and generosity shown us was overwhelming and we came away feeling the memories of the delicious lunch that had been shared with us would always remain. Thank you all If we find ourselves in the area we most certainly will return.

With origins dating back to the C12, with building in the 13th and 14th centuries and a comprehensive restoration in the 19th century, gives us the parish church that we see today. Sadly was unable to see inside due to it being locked. The village has about 100 listed buildings and structures, including the church, Tomb Chests and War Memorial so well worth the visit to explore this historic village. Parking can easily be found along Church Lane.
