Kingswood Surgery (Haxby Group)

I have just moved to this surgery and I really dont understand the bad reviews. I thought the care and service I got was brilliant compared to my old GP surgery on the Avenues in Hull. I got through almost straight away, they said I would have a telephone appointment that morning and when they called they then booked me in for a face to face that afternoon. The GP was very good. She booked me in for bloods the next day and scheduled another appointment in a few weeks. I'm definitely pleased I have moved to this surgery.

Just terribleIve been waiting over an hour to get through, was originally number 3 in the queue, when I got through they cut me off and I had to start again. This is not unusual Ive waited 2 hours before to get results over the phone, getting an appointment not easy either. Further problems today, 28/04/23 mean I am changing surgery I have no faith in Haxby sadly.

On the phone for 1 hour and 10 minutes waiting to speak to someone. The receptionist then said there is a waiting list to see a doctor or ring up before 10am. Up to 6 weeks for a appointment. Pay national insurance and cannot get to see a doctor DISGUSTING. And they are closing the surgury in the afternoon

Absolutely disgusted with this practice, as someone battling cancer and ringing up for a prescription that castlehill prescribe me to be told it was declined . Never once got a prescription right ,stay well clear of this surgery they just don't care .
