Recently Bought a low mileage 20 year old lexus sc430 (only 47000 on clock ) tried to get a package deal price to replace cambelt and full service via phone call no reply for 3 days went in to showroom gave my phone no and email after this asked to get me price but alas nope nadda nothing after another 5 days if they didn't want to do a deal that's fine or not want to work in a 20 year old car also OK but to be ignored is just bloody rude so no would not recommend at all lexus do better. And just be honest I am a adult I can take it

My review/audit of Lexus Kings Lynn-Steven Eagell I was contacted to book my Lexus RC300h into Steven Eagall for a recall retrofit for a Fuel Vent Tube. First off, I am in sales and service so probably a little more critical than most but thats just me. Not in a nasty way, but hopefully my comments will be helpful. Positives. Contact was made quickly and efficiently. I received the letter and called to book my car in. I was offered a courtesy car and received emails and text messaged confirming at every step. I just had to provide my share code for my driving licence. I was contacted by Alex the day before just to confirm all was still ok for me to attend the appointment. Alex, the receptionist was great, polite, helpful and efficient, as was the lady that took the initial call at the main Lexus call centre. When I arrived the car was warmed up ready for me to drive off. Excellent. A gentleman offered me a coffee from the Toyota side of the dealership as this was a faster machine than available in the Lexus side. It arrived shortly after, thank you and was very nice. The car was cleaned when I collected it. The job was completed timely and well before I expected. Slight Negatives The courtesy car had a bit of a smell to it (My wife agreed). A stale smell, and the wind screen was a little dirty and smeared on the inside. Not overly bothered but could have done with a refresh on the inside and air freshener. Maybe someone else has spilt something on the carpet thats gone un noticed and now smells? Whilst at the dealership I required the rest room and found this to be dirty. The toilet seat was covered in lots of wet splashes and not as clean as expected. As I suffer from Crohns disease toilets are a bug bear of mine. I would expect them to be regularly inspected during the day and any discrepancies rectified. When I collected my car, I had to place a personal item on the back seat. I noticed immediately that the leather was puckered, and the seat not correctly refitted. No big deal as, when speaking with Alex he immediately took the car to the workshop, and this was rectified within a few minutes. My point is only that this should have been spotted by the technician before the job being signed off as completed correctly. Had I drove home I would have had to drive back again to get this sorted. Thats it. I would like to add I love my car and the Lexus experience. The dealership from the initial sale at the Cambridge Branch to my experience today has been a cut above any other car sales I have dealt with so I will still give a very solid 9 out of 10 for today. Thankyou Stephen Kemp **Additional comment which I forgot on original review. When I pick up my car I would like the front seats and steering wheel returned to the position I dropped the car off in. The passenger seat was all over the place and the drivers seat on too bad but would be way out Im guessing if a taller person than myself drove the car. Maybe asking at the point of drop off what my saved seating setting is ? There are 3, and ensuring its set correctly. For collection? As for the passenger, just as close as best guess.
