Simply put, the worst it's ever been. Apparent from recent times "several" in their dictionary is what most of us call "once" and they'll use it as an excuse to fail to follow up when that one call is missed and then make you question your own sanity. Gaslighting tactics and woefully unprofessional bullys for staff, no wonder they're more often than not placed into special measures. Their chief concern isn't helping the ill but rather clearing their lists by referring back to GP. An absolute shame to even call it "NHS" as it opposes all values tied to the service. Note: I write this with a heavy heart, to think that many others will be in my situation and worse is painful to say the least. They don't see the effects being ignored has on the ill as of course they don't see us, they discharge us and leave us and our loved ones to pick up the fallout. It's seriously soul destroying for a larger circle of individuals than just the rejected needy. The service really used to be ok albeit with lesser understanding of mental health, but now modern understandings are much greater, the services are not making use of the advances in the field and it's lead many into a much darker path than they need/needed or deserved to be.

Update to previous review. Unable to give no stars. I wonder if there really are any doctors or prescribing nurses available in the Community Team.If tgere are they are well protected from enquiries by a reception desk that is almost always an answerphone and duty workers who simply cant understand that you requested medication support weeks ago. The Crisis Team seem to decide what a crisis looks like. Blood, stomach pump or death and nothing less. They answer the phone as though theyre manning a car wash or refuse site.No interest or compassion at all. Go on Directors and Chief Exec. Try it! We the patients are patronised and belittled by a team already deemed inadequate. It only gets worse despite the inspection report. Passed around like an unwanted parcel by various agencies. GP., First Response, Community Mental Health, Crisis. A weak attempt to cover their backs, but no help. Perhaps its West Norfolks answer to suicide. Go on, do it! There is no help. Just a lot of hot air, formulaic action plans. No duty worker. No receptionist most of the time. Samphire Ward do try to get a response. Lies written on discharge notes. Managers who ask a patient how they should solve their staffing crisis! CQC should have pursued their inspection of 2019. Needs improvement is the understatement of the decade. There is a crisis in mental health and no one to help. At least be honest.
