Stopped here to eat after a day out. Asked for a med/rare steak but it came out close to well done, both meals were advertised with onion rings - only onion on plates were sliced raw red onion with the salad and several of the chips were not cooked and inedible. Most annoying problem in any food establishment- if you are going to offer steak on the menu and you ask the Customer 'How they would like it cooked?' You need to have a chef who can deliver!!

Stopped off for a cheeky cider on the way back from the beach .... really lovely pub and very friendly.

Passed by today as fire service were putting out the fire that has engulfed & destroyed this once beautiful inn. My heart, thoughts & prayers go out to the owners, residents & staff here. I pray that everyone is safe & well. I pray that any loss anyone suffers is minimal. I wish you all good health moving forward.
