Had such a magical girls weekend away staying at a stunning new lodge at Windmill Retreat. This trip was 3 years in the making, delayed as it was due to Covid. Nothing disappointed. The lodges are new in the last few years I think (we stayed in Elm). Gorgeous, comfy sofas to sit and natter. Elevated position do the views were lovely. So so quiet! We had a day of shopppng at nearby Clarks village but saw our neighbours wandered off to the pub in close walking distance. We instead had an evening at byte on-site Spa. As a group of 5 we had the place to ourselves, what a treat! The staff were wonderful, the facilities clean, the setting stunning, the products to die for. We were so well looked after thank you all so much for making our weekend so magical! Btw the wifi actually works too!
