James Bignell Photography

James had his work cut out for him, taking pictures of someone (me) who is very Uncomfortable in front of a lens. However he immediately calmed my nerves and made the photo shoot a fun and relaxed experience! The pictures were way beyond my expectations and I can't thank James enough!

I cannot recommend James highly enough. He recently shot some press pics for me to accompany a new album. I was delighted by how much effort he made to understand the story behind the music itself and to create images that represented me as an artist in an imaginative and honest way. I usually feel so self conscious in front of the camera, but not at all with James. We had lost of fun, he really helped to bring me out of my shell. I felt totally comfortable to experimented with ideas and just be myself. The images themselves are fantastic. I'm so happy :-)

We originally had another photographer booked for our wedding but upon seeing James' work we knew he was who we really wanted for our wedding photos and we are so pleased we made the change. James was incredible both in the lead up and on the day. Going to the venue in the week prior to work out where the best light was throughout the day and being so unobtrusive on the day whilst making sure he got all the shots we wanted. He was so easy to have around - working tirelessly and staying later than even originally planned. Our wedding photos and the album he produced are something we really treasure and I would recommend him to anyone planning their wedding for timeless and classic pictures.

James Bignell is a wonderful photographer. His wealth of experience and friendly nature means that both adults and children alike feel at ease in front of the camera. We have used James on a number of occasions for a major revamp of our business website and also ongoing updates. I cannot recommend him highly enough - the quality of work is fantastic. For our team shots he has produced great results - helped immensely by his expertise, patience together with a relaxed and calm nature which immediately put everyone involved at ease.
