Ive been a Client of Jennies for just over 1 year. When I was seeking a Therapist for the first time in my life, I was completely dumbfounded as to what Therapy I would benefit from. I was also unsure how to explain why I wanted to start Therapy, thus it could of been an overwhelming experience trying to pick the right Therapist for me. I had also thought who can decide if they are the right Therapist for me if I cant even explain why I want Therapy in the first place?. I was attracted to Jennies profile because she referred to Mindfulness which I had a good level of understanding and interest in. I decided to send an enquiry but my approach was half- hearted at that stage, and I was still unsure whether I would go ahead with any sessions. Within a matter of hours Jennie contacted me back and offered an initial assessment over the phone to see if we were compatible. I still remember feeling tense when we began the assessment because I was embarressed at my lack of reason for approaching her but within minutes Jennies calming, professional and empathetic approach guided me and encouraged me to speak freely and her response to my comments difused any sense of uncertainty. I was still unsure what I was going for but Jennie reassured me that many Clients felt this way and it was a perfect place to start! Jennie was able to set up an appointment for our first meeting face to face within a couple of weeks. I was so suprised to feel myself relax in her company within minutes of our first session. Considering I had no idea where to begin, Jennie was able to use her professional experience and knowledge to guide our sessions in a non invasive way that has enabled me to break through barriers I didnt even know existed. One year on and we have come so far. To anyone who is unsure, all you need to do is put your trust in Jennie as she will show you the way!
