Swinton hotel

Great place if your staying for a night, wouldnt spend anymore than 1 night here. The room was fine, seemed fairly new decor. You get coffee and tea making facilities with complimentry packs of cookies nice little touch.The bathroom in the room definatly needed a refurb, and a tidy up the shower area had alot of soap and scum build up and the shower head wasnt very clean either. You get complimentry soaps,body and hair wash. Beds were ok pillows not great went flat as soon as you lay your head on them. The Hotel is fine for a nights stay and a resonable price for London and is in close proximity to Kings Cross station around a 10 minuite walk maximum.

I've stayed here several times and it's by far my favourite hotel in this price range in the kings cross area. The rooms are small and basic, but perfectly fine for an overnight or short stay. It's been fairly recently refurbished and is well kitted out, has a nice courtyard seating area and friendly staff. things to note: rooms at the front are quite noisy. you do need to drop off you key as you leave the hotel (which is not uncommon in hotels of this class in the area). it's practical, not luxury, but very good for what it is.
