Beware. I recently went into a tender situation with seven companies, Nixon Hire was the least expensive, so I notified the other six companies they had not been successful. I accepted the quotation by email and was very happy with the quotation, they were the cheapest by 12 a week for a welfare unit. Sometime later I was notified they had made a mistake and it would now be 67 a week dearer which made them the most expensive of the quotes. I rang Lucinda with whom I had agreed the quotation and I told her I didnt have time to begin the tendering or looking around for he cheapest and that I expected Nixon Hire to standby by their original quotation. I told Lucinda she gave me a quote and I accepted it in writing so we had a contract. I asked to speak to her superior. I was told he would call back but he never did. Now that the contract is coming to an end Nixon hire is demanding the uplifted fee, a further 603. Be aware apparently Nixon Hire believe they can change the terms of a contract at will, poor company.
